Ở Cuối năm 2016 có người đi bất cẩn té xuống sông chết vì cầu không có lang can, nay lại sụp mặt cầu, lỗ hổng phải lóc cây mới đi đựơc, đà cầu cũng đã rạn và có chỗ gãy, các trụ cột bêtông lòi sắt ra nó có nguy cơ sụp bất cứ lúc nào.
Cầu mới xin được xây với chiều dài 36m, rộng ngan 2,5 m, tổng ước tính là 316.985.000VNĐ.
In 2016, an accident happened, a villager, while walking on the bridge, fell and drowned in the river. Year after year, the material of the bridge has worn out, the bridge was shabby. There were several cracks and holes in middle of the bridge, local people used many pieces of wood fixing the broken parts of the bridge. The ledges of the bridge also had many signs of damages to the point that they could break anytime, posing a very dangerous situation for villagers who had to use it daily.
The new bridge, that we hope to build to replace the old broken one, will have a length of 36 meters and 2.5 meters wide. The estimated cost is 316.985.000VNĐ.

Tại Ấp Hoà Phú 2, xã Định Thủy, huyện Mỏ Cày Nam, tỉnh Bển Tre có 132 hộ dân ở, chiếc cầu mỗi ngày có khoảng 300-400 lượt người qua lại người già và trẻ em đi học, cầu đã xuống cấp hư hỏng nhiều năm mà quỹ xây dựng không có tiền làm lại.
Cầu dài 20 mét, ngang 1 mét, ngày xưa xây tạm, chất lượng kém.
Chi phí xây cầu 105,000,000 vnđ, điạ phương đóng góp 25,000,000 vnđ, MTNCĐ hổ trợ 80,000,000 Vnđ.
In hamlet Hoa Phu 2, village Dinh Thuy, district Mo Cay South, province Ben Tre where the population is 132 families, there is an old bridge that serves 300-400 passages of people crossing it every day including elders and children going to school. It has been deteriorating for years but it couldn’t be fixed due to a lack of funds.
It is of a poor quality, 20m long x 1m wide, temporarily constructed before.
The cost of the construction is VND 105,000,000. The local contribution is VND 25,000,000, EOCRO’s VND 80,000,000.
